Fish

Give a man a fish, and he will expect you go give him another one when he gets hungry again. If you give him more fish, he might start selling fish.

Try to teach a man to fish, and he's likely to think you are an arrogant know-it-all who's trying to run his life.

Sell a man a fish and you have a basis for an enduring and equitable relationship.

Some bargain sharply and give to charity to compensate. It is better to be appropriately charitable in all transactions.

Balance all transactions equitably. Don't take undue adavantage, but don't give away the store. That is the kindest way.
