Fusion
When I read that first Scientific American article on
sonoluminescence, I immediately wrote the editor a letter saying it
might work using liquid metal. I also wrote an email to a
friend. After that, he would ask if there had been any
progress, suggesting that I contact this or that person or
group. I did this a few times, but never got a
response. Eventually, I decided just to post the idea on my
AOL web site.
