Numerator/Denominator

Another advantage of the residue rational computer is numerator/denominator parallelism. Since the computer is doing detailed arithmetic processing of both the numerator and the denominator, it has approximately doubled the numerical range of each computation. That is, doing computations on a 32 bit numerator and a 32 bit denominator is in many ways equal or better than a 64 bit floating point computation, and can happen much faster.
